Terms of Service

By accessing or using ReverseApply ("Platform", "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Platform. You must be at least 16 years old (or the legal age to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction) to use the Platform. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. Use of the Platform is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we process personal data. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ReverseApply. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Platform after such updates constitutes acceptance.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to: • Provide accurate and complete information when creating your profile • Keep your account information up to date • Not share your account credentials with third parties • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account • Not create multiple accounts or impersonate others If you are creating an account on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.

The Platform, including all software, design, text, graphics, logos, and underlying code, is the exclusive property of ReverseApply and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Your Content: You retain all rights to the personal data and professional information you upload to the Platform. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Platform functionality. Our Content: All other content, including the Platform's software, algorithms, user interface, and documentation, remains our exclusive intellectual property. No rights or licenses are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.

The Platform may include links to or display content from third-party websites, services, and advertisements (including but not limited to Google AdSense and Google Analytics). No Responsibility: We do not control and are not responsible for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. Advertisements: By using the Service, you acknowledge that we may display advertisements of ourselves or third-party partners. For information on how your data is used for personalized advertising, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: • Scraping, data mining, or using automated bots to access or collect data from the Platform without our express written permission • Attempting to bypass, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the Platform • Distributing viruses, malware, or any other harmful code • Using the Platform for unauthorized marketing, spamming, or fraudulent activities • Impersonating any person or entity or misrepresenting your affiliation • Engaging in activities that constitute unfair competition or infringe upon our intellectual property rights • Using the contact request feature to solicit personal data, payment, or credentials from candidates, or to send fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing messages

By posting comments on ReverseApply, you agree to the following terms. User-generated content: You are solely responsible for any comment you post. ReverseApply bears no liability for the content of user comments. Prohibited content: Comments must not contain spam, harassment, hate speech, personal attacks, illegal content, or confidential third-party information. Violation may result in immediate removal and account suspension. Moderation: ReverseApply reserves the right to edit or remove any comment at its sole discretion, at any time and without prior notice. Comments that have been edited by a moderator are marked accordingly. Locked comments: Once a comment has been moderated (edited by an admin or operator), the original author may no longer edit it. The author retains the right to delete the comment at any time. Voting: Upvotes and downvotes are community signals only. They do not represent endorsements, recommendations, or opinions of ReverseApply. Content licence: By posting a comment, you grant ReverseApply a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, store, and distribute that content on the platform for as long as it remains published.

ReverseApply operates as a neutral intermediary that facilitates direct communication between employers and candidates. When an employer sends a contact request, the message is composed and sent solely by the employer. • ReverseApply is not a party to, and bears no responsibility for, the content of any message sent by an employer through the contact request feature. • ReverseApply will never, through any platform feature or communication, ask you as a candidate to share personal financial data, make a payment, or provide credentials such as passwords or identity documents. ReverseApply is free to use for candidates. • If you receive a message requesting personal data, payment, or credentials, or containing suspicious links, treat it as a potential scam and do not comply. You may report it via the platform’s support channel. • Employers are contractually prohibited from using the contact request feature for fraudulent, deceptive, or harassing purposes. Violations may result in immediate account termination and reporting to relevant authorities. The presence of an employer message on this platform does not constitute an endorsement or verification of its content by ReverseApply.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. To the fullest extent permitted by law: • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Platform • We are not responsible for the accuracy of user-provided information • We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages • Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim (if any) Nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for intent or gross negligence, or for any other liability which cannot be excluded under mandatory law. Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or limitations of liability. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. • We are not responsible for the content of messages sent by employers via the contact request feature; such messages are the sole responsibility of the employer who sent them

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ReverseApply, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from or related to: • Your use or misuse of the Platform • Your violation of these Terms • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or other proprietary rights • Any content or information you submit through the Platform This indemnification does not apply to consumers to the extent prohibited by mandatory consumer protection laws. This indemnification obligation survives termination of these Terms and your use of the Platform.

You may terminate your account at any time via account settings. Upon termination, we will delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account: • Immediately without prior notice if you engage in serious breaches, including fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity, or violations that pose a security risk • With reasonable notice for minor or curable violations, giving you an opportunity to remedy the issue • If required to do so by law or regulatory authority • If we decide to discontinue the Platform (with reasonable advance notice) Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination, including any intellectual property restrictions or indemnification obligations. Any provisions which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to intellectual property rights, indemnification, liability limitations, and dispute resolution provisions.

We welcome and appreciate feedback, suggestions, ideas, or other submissions ("Feedback") regarding the Platform. By providing Feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, and fully sublicensable right to use, modify, incorporate, and commercialize such Feedback without any obligation to you, including without compensation or attribution. You represent that any Feedback you provide does not violate any third-party rights and that you have the necessary rights to grant us this license.

ReverseApply shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond ReverseApply's reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or instability (including internet service provider failures), natural disasters, war, terrorism, riots, embargoes, acts of civil or military authorities, fire, floods, accidents, strikes, or shortages of transportation facilities, fuel, energy, labor or materials (specifically including loss of datacenter or datacenter connectivity).

These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Zürich, Switzerland. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under EU consumer protection laws, including the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or Platform features. When we make material changes, we will: • Update the Effective Date at the top of this page • Display a prominent notice on the Platform asking you to accept the changes We might also contact you by sending an email notification to your registered email address. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes acceptance. Where required by law, we may request your explicit consent. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the Platform and may terminate your account.
